Dear Parishioners and friends of the parish

I would like to invite you to our Annual Mother's Day celebration this coming Sunday, May 13 after the service.

Please bring something for the Potluck table and enjoy a beautiful presentation dedicated to our mother's by Our Dance group and students from the Ukrainian Language classes.

Bring your mom's and let's celebrate the most precious people in our lives together.

Will See you on Sunday. Please note that the Panakhyda for our Mother's will be served during the Liturgy.

2012 Pysanka Campaign

Dear parishioners and Friend of the Cathedral:
Our facilities are not 35 to 40 years of age and are in need of upgrading if the parish is to continue to function effectively in serving our community's religious, cultural and youth programming needs. Current levels of Sunday donations, hall rental and event revenues are insufficient to undertake this work.

Our Target

Our target is to raise $25,000 over the Easter period to go towards the new audiovisual system, completion of the handrails in the stariwell, washroom and bar renovations, in order of priority. Donation envelopes are being distributed and a donation boxs is located in the entrance to the church.

Please donate generously. Tax receipts will be provided an donors' names published.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP 2012

Dear parish members: We are encouraging you to renew your membership for 2012.  With your membership you will help keep our parish operational. As well you will receive a monthly copy of Visnyk from Winnipeg. Being a member also gives you the opportunity to vote at our Annual General Meeting in early 2012 and have an impact on the decisions that are made by our parish.

2012 membership dues are as follows: $132 single and $264 family. Please enclose a cheque to the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral or by setting up a monthly direct deposit from your bank's chequing account to our parish's bank account. (Once your direct deposit membership fee is set up, you will be always be a member in good standing.)

For more information about membership please contact Dean Mason, our Membership Director, after the Sunday service. New members are welcome!

Two of the 21 students participating in this year's the Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program, Solomiya Borshosh, from Lviv University (Ivan Franko), and Andriy Kril, from Kyiv Mohyla Academy, gave a performance at our church's traditional Ukrainian dinner on Sunday, October 3.
